Success Through Action
Keep Going And You Will Succeed
Everyone faces obstacles.
There are two groups of people: those who overcome hurdles, no matter how big or insurmountable they seem at first. These people have found a principle for their lives: 'Challenges make me strong.' and 'I learn from experiences, even the bad ones.'
This principle is already found in the Bible in Romans 5:3:
"Not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance character and character hope."
And then there is a second group of people: those who, even with the slightest inkling of a difficult situation, know exactly why things are about to get uncomfortable in their lives.
These people have the following principle for their lives: 'Challenges are unpleasant situations or mistakes to be avoided!'
They tell everyone how their life has deteriorated because of the situation and how unfair that is.
They are never to blame for the situation. Answers to the question of guilt are sought within those around them.
Getting help from outside is also difficult because 1. their problem is HUGE, on a scale no one has ever encountered before, and 2. they can immediately name 1,000 reasons why the proposed solution won't work.
But obstacles in our lives are there to prepare us for even greater challenges. We are designed to grow, in our intellectual abilities and in our creativity.
In the process of overcoming obstacles, it often seems as if nothing is moving forward and we're treading water. But this is precisely the time when we grow. We look for solutions, for new ways to tackle the problem.
This is also the phase when our foundation becomes stronger. This is the time when we become creative and seek new resources.
These are the moments when we change our thinking, create new routines, strengthen our skills and sharpen our senses. And in the end, we will emerge from the situation more successful.
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
Galatians 6:9
