Monomaniac

Monomaniac

Man, what have you forgotten!

MONOMANIAC - Someone who is almost exclusively knowledgeable in one area only.

Is modern society on the path to degeneration in the oh-so-hyped information age?

When I look around, my impression is confirmed. People everywhere who can no longer do the simplest things. Why? Because they have forgotten how to think, question and observe and learn with interest.

The flood of information with videos for every life situation also makes it difficult not to use an Internet search engine to find the solution.

Basically it's not a bad thing. Everyone is on their own path and does what they think is right. This in turn requires a certain level of thinking ability.

And that's the crux!

80% of people no longer think independently, but accept the opinions, recommendations and ideologies of others - without questioning them, because that requires a certain level of thinking ability. That's not bad either. Everyone is allowed to accept other ideas and think that they are good for themselves and their lives.

And here comes Crux No. 2:

His life!

Because if he is wrong about his opinion, which after a while has become the truth for his life, the damage will be minimal. Sometimes people are so convinced of their truth that they try to convince others to live their lives accordingly.

In principle it's not a bad thing, because it's perceived as more of a nuisance, provided... you have a certain amount of thinking ability.

This leads to Crux No. 3:

If those around you do not follow your own opinion, such people are personally hurt. Insult is the origin of every action, every crime and murder - without exception! This is also confirmed by criminal psychology.

Pressure is exerted to assert one's own truth. The more power, the greater the pressure. Now it will be difficult to remain steadfast because... you have to have a certain amount of thinking ability.

We see it in all areas, classes and societies that base their education on this: don't think much, especially don't think differently and obey!

The decades-long bestseller, the Bible, says it in Proverbs 14:6:

The mocker seeks wisdom and does not find it; but knowledge is easy for those who understand.

Recommendation:
Do your spiritual homework, seek wisdom, connect with the divine and you will gain knowledge.
